Many electric tricycle manufacturers in Tianjin actively seize the market opportunity of the "the Belt and Road". In the first half of 2025, the export volume of electric tricycles will increase by 65% year on year, and the products will be exported to more than 20 countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road", including Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.
Tianjin, as an important electric vehicle production base in northern China, has a complete industrial chain from frame manufacturing, component matching to vehicle assembly. The relevant person in charge of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce stated that in order to support the export of electric tricycles, Tianjin Customs has optimized the export customs clearance process, reducing the export declaration time from the original 3 days to 8 hours, greatly improving logistics efficiency. At the same time, Tianjin Port has also opened a dedicated export channel for electric tricycles to ensure the rapid shipment of products.
